A CLA (collective labour agreement) contains terms agreed between employers and employees on matters such as wages, bonuses, working hours, holidays, sick leave, and pensions.
The FNV CLA app contains the full texts of collective labour agreements in the food industry (e.g. meat, poultry), Agricultural Greenery (e.g. open cultivation or greenhouse horticulture), and the FNV Processing Industry (e.g. paper and cardboard, textile care services). Many migrant workers also work in many of these sectors. Thats why almost all the CLAs in the app are also available in Polish, Romanian and/or English. In the future, you will be able to find more and more relevant CLAs in the app.
Do you work in the food industry, agricultural sector, or processing industry and are you not (that) good in the Dutch language? This app allows you to understand what is in your CLA, and what rights and obligations you have.
What can you do with this app?
- Read your CLA: you can read the entire CLA for your sector or industry. The CLA contains all terms agreed between employers and employees concerning, for example, wages, bonuses, working hours, holidays, sick leave, and pensions.
- Easy to search your CLA: are you looking for a specific subject, article or piece of text in your CLA? The handy search function means you can quickly search the whole text of the CLA by subject or word. In the app you can also change the font from small to very large. This way the text is easy to read for everyone.
- Ask questions: do you want to know more about your CLA, or is something unclear to you? You can also use the app to ask questions (and receive answers) in any of the languages in which a CLA is available on this app. Most CLAs are not just available in Dutch and English, but also in Polish and Romanian. You will receive an answer from an FNV worker within 5 working days and in the language of your choice.
- News and updates: the app keeps you up to date with important news and new developments in your CLA or sector.
